Patriot
Truck & Auto Body is a three generation family business with over
fifty years of combined experience. Patriot Truck & Auto Body is ready
to service and handle all types of fender benders, collision repairs,
truck reconditioning, and much more.
Angelo Russo
Angelo is a pioneer in the auto body business for the Russo family. He
owned and operated A & J Auto Body and Wheel Alignment in Somerville
for over 35 years. Even though Angelo is semi-retired, he is still the
staple and the glue to Patriot Truck & Body.
Richard Russo, Sr.
Since the age of 10, Richard and his four brothers
learned the trade from their father.
By the age of 12 Rich Sr was sneaking in the spray room and painting cars
only for his father Angelo to walk in and tell the painter what a good
job he was doing, and find his son was the one painting.
Richard owned and operated the Maaco Auto Paint in Lynn,
MA and achieved twelve 1 million dollar annual sales years. Maaco in Lynn
was one of the busiest shops in the country and he received national recognition
from the franchise for his hard work and success. In 2006 Rich Sr decided
to open Patriot Truck & Body with his father Angelo, and his son Rich
Jr.
Richard specializes in metal / aluminum
/ fiberglass fabrication and custom paint work. He recently finished his
1974 Custom Harley Davidson shovelhead and has entered and won numerous
shows for the bikes original design. Other than
working on automobiles and bikes, Richard is also a national judo champion.
Rich Russo, Jr.
Unlike his father, Rich Jr. didn't have much of a passion
for cars growing up until the summer of 2005. Rich Jr began learning the
trade with his father and grandfather at Maaco. He started at the bottom
and was a fast learner, having a knack for the trade just like his father
and grandfather.
With the experience and knowledge
of his father and grandfather, the three of them have made a perfect team.
Rich Jr has begun working on his own projects, hopefully building a show
winning piece just like his father. He is currently working on a 1981
corvette that was burned on the drivers side. He hopes to finish his personal
project by the spring of 2012. He chose this car because as a child his
father had built the same exact car, and it was a two time world of wheels
best of show winner . Even though his grandfather Angelo is retired he
still comes in everyday and offers his advice and continues to make an
impact on his grandson trying to help him become the best he can be.
Everyday is always something new when the three of them
are at the shop together. Patriot Truck & Autobody plans to be around
for a long time servicing trucks and automobiles from all over the boston
area.
